September 2012 – Present
Sentry Protective Systems is a residential and commercial home alarm system company located in the Northeast. Their target area is New Hampshire and Boston.
The alarm system space is a congested space. You have large companies such as ADT, LifeShield and more occupying the space for most tier 1 city keywords. Boston being a tier 1 city the local space was very busy. Many different alarm web pages connected with Boston and New Hampshire localized keywords.
The site was a brand new website with many new pages so we working with fairly fresh URL’s which take time to mature.
Still, the site had the following issues prior to re-developing and implementing onsite SEO efforts:
Our first effort was to identify a strategy that broke out all core services onto their own pages. With individual service pages we were able to go after a wider net of relevant industry keywords. Once we had the site built out with new content we shifted gears to a local SEO approach. We utilized efforts like online PR, local business profiles, review sites, business directories and niche websites to build up the link profile of the website. This multi-pronged approach using safe Google approved marketing methods allowed the site to build traction in the local online marketing space while bringing in individual traffic and brand building.
