@brianclarke/@copyblogger – Brian Clarke is the CEO of Copyblogger Media. If you’re specialized in SEO, blogging, content and social media marketing, his Twitter account is one of those you simply have to follow. The same goes for Copyblogger and its Twitter account. Copyblogger’s writers produce some of the best and most useful advice on content and SEO you’ll find on the internet.
@neilpatel/@kissmetrics – Neil Patel is the co-founder of CrazyEgg and KISSMetrics, two widely used tools for heatmapping and web analytics. Patel gives advice on everything that will help your website get noticed – from search engine rankings and what influences them, to strategies for building an online audience.
@moz – formerly known as SEOMoz, Moz saw its way from a SEO consulting company to a company that offers a variety of tools for inbound marketing analytics. Along the line it developed a lively online marketing community. Its account is one of the most followed internet marketing accounts on Twitter, and for a good reason.
@randfish – Rand Fishkin was the founder of SEOMoz, the previous entry on the list. He stepped down, however, from his place as CEO, and has since shared his insight in the world of internet marketing with anyone willing to listen – and a lot of people are willing, indeed.
@avinash – Avinash Kaushik, former digital marketing evangelist for Google, and co-founder of Market Motive, is also the author of two internet marketing bestsellers – Web Analytics: An Hour a Day, and Web Analytics 2.0. If your fields of interest are web analysis, data, and how they relate to internet marketing, Kaushik’s twitter account is almost mandatory for you to follow.
@dannysulivan – Danny Sullivan is one of the leading SEO gurus. He’s been in the industry for almost 30 years, he’s the founding editor of Search Engine Land, and he’s involved in SMX: Search Marketing Expo. If you ever feel like your head is getting lost in the SEO clouds and you need a reality check, Sullivan is the guy to turn to.
@garyvee – Gary Vaynerchuk’s name is almost a synonym for excitement. In the world of internet marketing, Vaynerchuk is known for sharing social media-related advice, or more specifically, sharing what he knows worked, either for him or for other people. Keep in mind though – his excitement might be contagious.
@ThisIsSethsBlog – Seth Godin is one of the most influential names in marketing today. Author of Permission Marketing, All Marketers Are Liars, Purple Cow, and founder of Squidoo.com, Seth is widely respected as an authority on marketing, the internet, and everything that happens when the two cross paths.
@SMExaminer – Social Media Examiner is an online magazine that deals with social media marketing. It publishes Social Media Marketing Industry Report, one of the most valued reports in the field of social media marketing. Their Twitter account is a good thing to follow if you want to stay in touch with the latest trends and tips for social media marketing.
@TheGrok – Bryan Eisenberg is one of the pioneers of internet marketing, with conversion rates, persuasive content and persona marketing as his fields of expertise. He’s also one of the best people to follow on Twitter if you want some tips on how to provide a better customer experience.
